Condition

Restored condition; appears to have remnants of a red painted surface; the top with a later polished finish and with numerous infilled and inpainting holes and age cracks; warpage to top; undersides of flaps routed out and each with three later braces to correct warpage; some old worm damage and rubbing to legs; old marks, scratches scuffs and bruises; drawers appear to be original.; runners to drawers later; hinges to flaps later; the under-framing long supports made of oak, the drawer backs made of oak.
