of rectangular form with rounded ends and reeded edge, with gilt-tooled brown leather-inset top, above a frieze fitted with two drawers and with dummy drawers to both short sides and one long side, above a brass cock-bead molding on a ring-turned cylindrical standard, on downswept legs terminating in brass casters.

Condition

Overall good restored condition; gilt-tooled leather-lined top later; replacements to veneers of top edge; old marks and scratches to frieze with sun-fading, inpainting and minor lifting and tearing to veneers; ebonized decoration to legs restored; repaired breaks to three legs, one with a plug.
