Uniformly bound in green morocco, covers tooled with elaborate gilt floral pattern, 2 miniature ivory portraits of 18th and 19th Century gentlemen on upper and lower covers (lower miniature apparently cracked), miniature portraits of George Villiers and of an early 18th-century gentleman on upper and lower covers of volume 2, gilt dentelles, top edges gilt. Toning to edge of end papers. Pencil inscription on end papers. Bound by Riviere & Sons.
