the crossbanded top with star marquetry above a plain apron on lappet-carved cabriole legs terminating in paw feet.
Condition
Good restored condition; now with a glossy finish; age cracks and shims along lines of construction below; center roundel to top later; top inlaid with lozenges and central star; replacements to crossbanded veneers; repaired break to one leg and now with patches; minor losses to brackets; lifting to veneers of top; underside of top now varnished; underside with worm damage; the repaired leg with new glue blocks, one lacking; some later underframing and minor patches to underside; overall with some old marks, scratches scuffs and bruises.
