A rare pair of George III gilt carton-pierre two-light girandoles Circa 1765

Very good restored condition; later gilding; candle nozzles and drip pans appear to be original; each girandole with four small losses to the gilding and gesso to the sides of the frame where screws screw into the wall to fix the girandole. The girandole with the girl - backing to the top right leaf tip replaced; top left leaf tip with old repaired break; left leaf tip beneath upper leaf tip with old repaired break; partially lacing original framing to back; upper two mirror plates (not including the central upper plate) appear to be replaced; the lower mirror plates appear to be old. The girandole with the boy with old repaired breaks to upper right and left leaf tips; left leaf tip with replaced backing; leaf tip to apron with replaced backing; central top and topr right plates appear to be original; all other plates appear to be replaced.
