Model no. 44, the faciaboard and cheeks veneered with mahogany and tulipwood crossbanding, set with three brass-knobbed hand stops, the name board with inlaid inscription No. 44 Peter Redstone Fecit 1990.
Condition
Overall good original condition; the top warped; minor age cracks to right side of case; small surface abrasions to back right corner of case; the left side is unfinished (no veneer), and is varnished; some strings appear to be broken; numerous keys do not engage with the strings; Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the mechanism; instrument is in need of restringing, tuning and general conditioning.
