Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There is a hairline vertical crack at the top right corner, and second one at the centre of the left edge. There is scattered fine craquelure along the left edge. Under ultraviolet light there is no evidence of restoration. Unframed. Please note the correct provenance of the work should read: Sotheby's, New York, October 1, 1985, lot 134 Private Collection, Washington, D.C.
