presented against an architectural background, St Simeon standing on the right holding the Christ Child, the Mother of God before him and, behind her, the prophetess Anna and St Joseph holding a birdcage containing turtledoves
Condition
The icon covered with darkened varnish. A crack running through the panel from top to bottom on the left hand side. Some minor wear.
