Description

  • wood, tempera
  • 33 by 29.3cm, 13 by 11 1/2 in.
painted in bright colours, the four feasts depicted within a recessed panel, probably originally forming the wings of a triptych reassembled in the 19th century

Condition

The two small panels put into a new panel in the 19th century. Some wear to the painting and some retouching all over. Loss of gold in the background, especially in the scene with St Sophia. Two chips - one in the upper right corner of The Baptism of Christ, and one in the lower left corner of The Crucifixion.
