after a design by Elizaveta Bohm, colourless glass with gold luster imitating precious metal, painted with opaque black, white, blue and green enamels in neo-Slavic style and highlighted with gilt, the neck with Cyrillic inscription: 'Step aside, soul, or I'll pour it on you'

Catalogue Note
The offered bratina is a rare example of a 19th century glass object produced at Diatkovo Crystal Works. The factory, founded by Maria Maltsova in 1796, formed part of the Maltsov industrial and trade company from 1875 to 1885.
