Description

the surface of translucent tobacco brown enamel over chased swirls issuing from an inset rose-cut diamond on the front and back, divided by a two-colour gold chased leaf border, hinged at the pendant loop and opening to reveal an interior gold slide and disc base to facilitate upright display, struck with workmaster's initials, 56 standard, French control mark

Condition

Excellent condition and cleverly constructed. There are faint surface scratches and minor wear to the chased gold leaf border as expected with age.
