the ogee handle cast and chased with Alkonost on a strapwork ground within ropetwist borders, the prow engraved with initials JSH and dated in German 1 March 1895, gilt interior, struck K.Fabergé beneath the Imperial Warrant, 88 standard, scratched inventory number 4970, French import mark

Condition

Good condition. There is a shallow dent at the date engraving. Minor wear to gilt. Minor surface scratches as expected with age.
