depicted in three-quarter profile inclining to the right, beardless and with short curly hair, wearing a blue tunic, a bright red mantle and a red hat, holding a scroll with an excerpt from his prophecies, painted in expressive linear style with bright colours on a gold ground, from the upper tier of an iconostasis

Condition

Two cracks running through the panel. Strengthened on the back. Some paint loss and repainting, mainly along the left crack where a strip of about 2 cm has been repainted.
