Condition
There is a firing crack to the back of the neck measuring approx. 0.7cm. Otherwise in good overall condition consistent with age.

Catalogue Note
This figure, also known as 'January', is from Kuznetsov's 'Zodiac Signs' series on which he began working in 1916. He completed the first two models, 'Aquarius' and 'Pisces', in 1918 and was awarded a gold medal for these works at the Paris Exhibition of 1925. For similar models, see T.N. Nosovich and I.P.
