Description

  • silver, silver gilt, nephrite, gold mount
  • length: 5cm, 2in.
tear-drop form, enamelled in transulcent white over wavy engine-turning, the lid finely carved as a leaf mounted onto a hinged gold strut and conforming to the undulating rim, gilt interior, 56 and 88 standards

Condition

Very good condition. There are small areas of successful restoration. One small crack to edge of leaf. An interesting and well-made object.
