the lid cast with the cypher of Nicholas II within the Imperial eagle, cabochon sapphire thumbpiece, the base inscribed in Russian and dated: 'From all merciful, bestowed from the cabinet of His Highness to the court counsellor V. E. Napravniku, 11 August 1904', gilt interior, struck with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 84 standard, scratched inventory number 9376

Condition

Good condition, with minor surface scratches and shallow dents to rear corners. Loss to end of hinge pin.
