Description

  • length: 29.2cm, 11 1/2 in.
the base repoussé with the Imperial eagle, the handle engraved with a portrait of Empress Elizaveta Petrovna, the prow with her cypher, the exterior with presentation inscription from the Empress to the Donskoj older ataman Timofei Grekov for his loyal service in Moscow, dated 22 December 1749, apparently unmarked

Excellent condition, probably re-gilt.
