- the oklad apparently unmarked, the fitted gilded silver frame circa 1890, Moscow, Cyrillic maker's mark of Ovchinnikov with Imperial warrant
- Gilded silver, enamel, seed pearls

the realistically painted figure of Christ shown at half length, blessing and holding the open Gospels, with oklad decorated in brightly colored cloisonné enamel in floral and geometric patterns, the Gospels in champlevé enamel and the halo with seed pearls, the outer edges raised to resemble half-columns surmounted by transparent green crosses
