Condition
Oil on canvas. The surface is dirty and covered with a layer of slightly yellowed varnish. There is minor paint loss around the edges. There is some very minor craquelure. There is a horizontal line across lower edge of painting and upper edge of painting and a vertical line across left edge and right edge; these appear to be slight indentations from the stretcher. Under UV no pigments appear to fluoresce but varnish prevents a conclusive analysis. Held in a white painted wood strip frame. Unexamined out of frame.
