Condition
Oil on canvas. The surface is dirty and covered with a layer of very slightly yellowed varnish. There is a line from the frame along the upper edge and in the upper left and upper right corners there is a line of craquelure, presumably from the frame. There is a very small stain in the center of the upper edge. Under UV no pigments appear to fluoresce although varnish prevents a conclusive analysis. Held in a gold painted wood frame with cloth slip. Unexamined out of frame.
