Condition
This painting is rather in the style of the Portrait of Jaques Stettiner, in that it employs a heavily applied texture to the paint. In this particular case it has survived considerably better than the portrait. The paint layer is more or less clean. The canvas has relaxed in the upper left and a light coat of varnish would probably add a little depth here and there. The only issues to this picture are the waves in the canvas in the upper left, the upper center and in a few other areas.
