- Rock crystal, gold, enamel, diamonds, rubies
- Length 2 1/2 in.
- 6.3 cm
the carved rock crystal box of demilune shape, the hinged lid engraved with a design of foliate swags and a laurel wreath hanging from bow knots, the gold rim enameled opaque white and set with square-cut rubies at either corner, the thumbpiece set with a triangular ruby surrounded by rose-cut diamonds
