Etching, 1879-80, an exceptionally fine atmospheric impression of the second state (of nine), with a veil of tone in the sky and water, from Twenty-Six Etchings, signed with a butterfly on the tab and inscribed 'imp', on laid paper, framed

Condition

In good condition, with thread margins and the tab as intended by the artist. A pale fox mark on the verso not showing through to the recto, and remains of paper hinges along the upper sheet edge, again on the verso.
