Condition

This impressive, slightly warm-toned early print, on double-weight paper with a semi-matte surface, is in excellent condition. There is a tiny small loss of black ink in the upper left border corner. There is a Keith de Lellis, New York, gallery label on the reverse of the frame.

Catalogue Note

The inscription signed 'Meg' is by Margaret Bourke-White, and the 'DS' is likely Dave Scherman, LIFE photographer and correspondent, who met Lee Miller and worked with her in Europe during World War II.
