2 plates from Portfolio Three: Yosemite Valley, including 'Bridalveil Fall' and 'Trees and Cliffs,' each mounted, signed in ink on the mount, the portfolio stamp, plate numbers and '156' in red ink, on the reverse, circa 1952 and 1954, both printed in 1960, each no. 156 in an edition of 208; together with the original green cloth portfolio and printed matter (Portfolios, pp. 54 and 55) (4)

Condition

These prints are in generally excellent condition, except where noted. Plate 14. 'Bridalveil Fall' - The upper left corner of the print is bumped. On the reverse of the mount, 'AAHA153' is written in an unidentified hand in pencil. Plate 15. 'Trees and Cliffs' - There is a stray ink mark on the mount in the lower left corner near the edge. On the reverse of the mount, 'AAHA1147' is written in an unidentified hand in pencil. The portfolio case and title/colophon/plate list are in generally excellent condition.
