Condition
This charming portrait of a young girl is notable for the ease and apparent spontaneity of the image. The plate is in very good condition. There is a very faint area of warm-colored discoloration on the girl's left-most arm. There is age-appropriate tarnishing around the edges of the image. There may be faint blue hand-tinting on the table cloth, or this may simply be a slight solarization of the image.
