Condition

The missing plates are: 580. The Sentinel - San Ildefonso 586. The Offering - San Ildefonso 592. Offering to the Sun - San Ildefonso 604. Inscription Rock 607. A Zuni Governor Plates 582, 584, 587, 595, 597, 600, 602, 610, 612, 613 are missing their mats and there are adhesive remnants along the upper mount edges. The mat is partially separated from the mount of Plate 605. Plates 587 and 597 were previously overmatted; the overmats were removed and a full record of treatment is available upon request. There is minor rippling in the corners of some plates. There is occasional very light discoloration in the margins of some plates. On Plates 600 and 608, there are 2 tiny tears in the tissue in the lower left margins. On Plate 601, there is an eraser-head-sized paper flaw in the sitter's cheek. The portfolio case is in generally excellent condition.
