Condition
This early, slightly warm-toned print, on paper with a surface sheen, is in generally excellent condition. When examined in raking light, a deposit that appears to be original retouching is visible in the center of the image.
The reverse appears to have dry-mounting tissue attached overall.

A print of this image was also used in Vogue, 15 December 1933, on page 36 to illustrate a review of Brancusi's sculpture at the Brummer Galleries. It reads in part,
'Brancusi was really the pioneer of all modern sculpture--the first to see beauty in pure form devoid of meaning, in eggs of marble, in shining brass, in wooden convolutions.'
