Vintage silver print. On the reverse, with the photographer's 'Koblenz / Ehrenbreitstein Rheinburg' stamp, his copyright  and archive stamp 'HHH Inventar' with the archive number indicated in pencil, and typewritten annotation '"Herbst". Werbedrucksache einer Sterbekasse. Lichtmontage, 2 Neg' on a paper strip fixed to the reverse.

In excellent condition. The print has a glossy surface. With some original retouching.

Catalogue Note

The group of three gentlemen wearing top-hats is an element that Hajek-Halke also used for his famous photograph Malicious Gossip (Üble Nachrede) from 1932. Autumn (Herbst) is the only existing print of this variant.
