Condition

This striking early print is in generally excellent condition. Upon close examination in raking light, tiny deposits of original retouching are visible overall. There is minor edge chipping along the lower left and right print edges. The mount, which is ever so lightly age-darkened at the edges, is affixed to a mat with four 1½- to 2-inch strips of paper tape on its reverse. 'Top' is annotated in pencil along the upper edge on the reverse of the mount.
