This print, on paper with a slight surface sheen and mounted to slick cream-colored heavy card, is in very good to excellent condition. Tiny strips of dry-mounting tissue extend slightly beyond the print on the upper and lower edges. When examined in raking light, the following are visible: 2 raised areas between the mount and print, as if very small particles are trapped, in the lower left quadrant; a one-inch linear indentation that does not appear to break the emulsion in the lower left quadrant; and 3 tiny deposits of original retouching in the upper left quadrant. The mount's edges are slightly rubbed, and there is faint age-darkening at the periphery. The reverse of the mount is attached to the overmat with 3 pieces of cloth tape.
