Condition

This photograph is in generally excellent condition. There is very minor edge chipping along the left edge of the print. In the upper right quadrant, a small raised area, likely a particle trapped between the print and the mount during dry-mounting, is visible in raking light. The mount is partially overmatted along its top edge. Although the 'Ansel Adams & Edwin Land' exhibition label on the reverse states that this image was made with Polaroid Type 55 film, Adams discusses making this picture with a Hasselblad camera in his volume 'Examples: The Making of 40 Photographs.'
