mural-sized, from a Polaroid Type 55 negative, flush-mounted, framed, 1960, probably printed in the 1960s (Morgan & Morgan, pl. 92)

Condition

This mural-sized print is in generally good condition. Upon close examination in raking light, several small areas of recent inpainting by a conservator are visible. In the lower right corner, there is a small emulsion loss visible near the barnacle. This print has recently undergone successful conservation, and a treatment report is available upon request. The frame, likely original to the print, is chipped. On the reverse of the frame, '3' is annotated in an unidentified hand in ink.
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report. Prospective buyers should inspect each lot to satisfy themselves as to condition and must understand that any statement made by Sotheby's is merely a subjective qualified opinion.
