from a Polaroid Type 55 negative, mounted on Harvey illustration board, 'Polaroid Land Photograph by Ansel Adams,' printing information, and Polaroid Collection stamps on the reverse, 1961
Condition
This photograph is in good to very good condition. Upon close examination, there is a small opaque white deposit of indeterminate nature in the right middle portion of the image. In raking light, there are a few surface scuffs and scratches that do not break the emulsion.
The mount corners are bumped. There is light soiling from handling at its periphery, and there are small liquid deposits of indeterminate nature along the upper and lower mount edges.
On the reverse of the mount, the 'Polaroid Land Photograph by Ansel Adams' stamp appears twice. The stamps bear the following annotations in ink: Print No. '30'; Box No. 'M-1'; Film '55 P/N'; Date '11-4-61'; and Remarks 'Agfa Brovira #III Glu Light.' '#11-61-13' (underlined) is also annotated in an unidentified hand in pencil.
