Description

  • Andy Warhol
  • ANDY BEING CHOKED
  • polaroid print
unique Polaroid SX-70 print, annotation '1/1' in pencil in the margin, credit 'A Warhol' in pencil on the reverse, circa 1978

Condition

This unique Polaroid print is in generally good to very good condition. The colors appear somewhat muted and may have faded slightly over time. Upon close examination, there are tiny raised or crystalized areas in the upper portion of the image. Visible in raking light are a number of superficial surface scratches. None of these disturbances affect its overall attractive appearance. The print is adhered to a thin paper mount. On the reverse of the mat, 'Property of The Polaroid Collections Do Not Remove' is stamped.
