Catalogue Note
Né en France, Dimitri Bouchène passa son enfance et son adolescence à Saint-Pétersbourg, où il étudia à l'Université. Il suivit également des cours privés auprès du fameux peintre russe Nicolas Roerich. Dès 1925, il s'établit définitivement à Paris où il exerça dans des domaines très variés : dessinateur de mode, créateur de costumes et de décors de théâtre, illustrateur et peintre.
