Condition

Overall the condition of the figure is good. There is dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is some minor splitting to the surface consistent with material. The inside of the proper left ankle includes a small section of material from the root canal of the tusk. Both arms were carved separately and attached at the shoulders; both are slightly loose. Three fingers of the proper right hand are partially lost. Three fingers of the proper left hand were reattached. There is a peg at the top of the head to cover the root canal. The top part of the tree branch on the proper right side of the saint and the branch on the other side were carved seperately; a joint is slightly visible. The ivory arrow in the abdomen and wood arrows in the chest and proper left leg have broken off.
