Condition

Overall the condition of the French lock and key is good. There is dirt and minor abrasions, dents and scratches to the surface of the lock and key consistent with age and handling. There is minor oxidization to the lock and key throughout. The lock mechanism appears to only work partially. Overall the condition of the base is good with nicks and scratches and the material lining the underside has peeled away. Overall the condition of the Austrian lock is good. There is dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age, including minor nicks, scratches and abrasions. There is minor oxidization throughout the surface. The lock mechanism appears to be partially operational. The lock has been glued to the perspex base. Overall the condition of the base is good with some nicks and scratches.
