Condition
Overall the condition of the bronze is very good. There is some wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age, with traces of a reddish wax in the crevices and some particular wear where the back of the corpus has rubbed against its mount. The figure was cast in sections; the joints at the arms and around the waist are slightly visible. There are a few minor nicks and scratches, including at the right knee and around the holes fro mounting in the hands and feet. There is a hole for mounting the halo at the back of the head.
