Condition
The canvas in unlined and secure. The paint surface is very well preserved throughout. There are a few small restored damages in the sky (i.e. upper right and just above the Doge's palace), an area of wash strengthening in the extreme upper right and some further sporadic retouchings to some of the darker areas of the landscape. There is a larger area of retouching on the upper left section of the Zecca (centre left). Sold with a modern gilt frame in goos condition, with some losses.
