STRUCTURE
Both canvases have been lined.
PAINT SURFACE
Both paintings appear to be in very good condition. There is no visible retouching or loss of paint in either.
ULTRAVIOLET
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals that both paintings have retouching and infilling to craquelure in the sky, as well as further scattered minor retouching overall.
FRAME
Held in matching gilded wooden frames.
