PAINT SURFACE
The painting appears to be in good, clean condition, and is ready to hang.
ULTRAVIOLET
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals retouching and infilling to craquelure to both sholders and the upper arms. There is a large area of strengthening in the upper left of the picture, and there are futher more minor scattered retouchings overall.
FRAME
Held in a gilded wooden frame.
