Condition
The support consists of two vertical panels which have previously come apart and caused some paint loss, abrasion and subsequent restoration along the join. Three horizontal batons have been removed from the reverse of the panels. The paint surface, which where unmanipulated has survived quite well, has been quite extensively restored, notably in the right hand background and many of the shadowed areas; for example the shadow parts of all the faces have undergone some repainting. There are many further retouchings throughout the panel.
