Condition
The copperplate is flat although a little uneven at each corner. The paint surface is generally well preserved. There is some strengthening to the folds of the Virgin's robes and to the curtain behind and some fairly extensive retouching to the putti above. The is some further strengthening along the lower margin. The varnish is somwthat patchy. Sold with a later decorative gilt frame in good condition.
