Condition

The panel is uncradled and bevelled along both upper and lower margins. There is a slight horizontal bow. The paint surface is beginning to lift towards the lower right corner but is generally quite well preserved. There are however several large areas of restoration; along a restored surface crack in the upper centre, to the bridge of her nose, in the upper right background and on and around the aforementioned lifting. Sold with a carved wood frame.
