Condition
The support consists of a single stable panel. The flesh tones of the Madonna and Child are a little pinker than in the catalogue illustration. The paint surface is secure under a dirty varnish. Inspection under UV light reveals some minor scattered retouching and some strengthening to the Madonna's hand and cuff lower right.
The panel has an engaged frame with some knock and a later wooden frame with velvet inset in good condition.
