Condition

The actual painting is warmer and less blue in tone than the catalogue illustration suggests. The single panel is in good condition and bevelled along the edges. No damages are apparent. Tiny scattered discoloured retouchings can be observed in the sky. The paint surface is under a slightly dirty layer of varnish. Inspection under UV light reveals additional tiny scattered retouchings and strengthenings in the figures and houses. Offered in a later plain light wood frame in good condition.
