Condition
The canvas has been recently relined. The paint surface is secure though some areas of abrasion are apparent in the background. A few subsequent retouchings are visible to the naked eye. No damages are apparent. The painting has quite recently been cleaned and restored. Inspection under UV light reveals tiny scattered retouchings and strengthenings in the outlines, and a larger spot of retouching in the background upper centre right.
Offered in a plain light wood frame in good condition.
