Ad un primo esame l'opera si presenta in perfette condizioni.
L'esame alla lampada di Wood rivela alcuni piccoli ritocchi sul cileo in alto a sinistra e nella parte centrale, probabilmente più estesi rispetto all'effettiva mancanza. Si evidenzia un leggero strato di vernice fluorescente.
L'opera si presenta in uno stato di conservazione molto buono.
From a first hand inspection the painting appears in good condition.
The ultra violet light reveals some small retouches over the sky on the top left hand side and in the centre, probably larger than needed, and light fluorescent varnish.
The overall condition as to the state of preservation is very good.
