Condition
Ad un primo esame si notano forti depositi di polvere sulla superficie ed il supporto appare imbarcato al centro del lato destro.
Al di sotto della concavità si nota una piccola spaccatura con mancanza del supporto (cm 1 x 0.5 visibile da catalogo), nell'angolo in basso a destra si notano due felature orizzontali (la più longa cm 10 circa). Vi è una leggera abrasione lungo il bordo superiore al centro in corrispondenza della battitura della cornice.
L'esame alla lampada di Wood evidenzia una vernice molto fluorescente distribuita disomogeneamente sulla superficie.
Si consiglia un'attenta pulitura.
L'opera si presenta in buono stato di conservazione.
From a first hand inspection a thick deposit of dust is visible, the support looks warped on the right hand side and underneath it there is a small crack with losses of the support (cm 1 x 0.5 visible from the picture in the catalogue); two more small horizontal cracks are visible (the longest cm 10 circa), along the top edge in the center an abrasion due to the frame.
The ultra violet light reveals thick fluorescent varnish dishomogeneously spread over the surface.
A careful cleansing is suggested.
The overall condition as to the state of preservation is good.
